Six-Month Guarantee Terms

What the guarantee provides

If the candidate you select leaves the role, or is determined to be unsuitable for the role, within six months of their agreed start date, ScaleHorse will conduct a replacement recruitment search for the same role at no additional recruitment fee.

The guarantee provides a replacement recruitment search. It does not provide a cash refund of the deposit, the success fee or any other amount, and it does not cover wages, subscriptions, equipment or other costs incurred by your business.

Making a claim

• Notify ScaleHorse in writing within the six-month period and before engaging another recruiter for the role.
• Provide a short description of what occurred and the candidate's last date of engagement.
• All recruitment fees for the original search must have been paid in full.
• The replacement search commences once the role requirements have been reconfirmed with us.

Exclusions

The guarantee does not apply where:

• The role has been materially changed from the role originally scoped and recruited for.
• The business has closed, paused operations or ceased trading.
• The position has been made redundant or is no longer required.
• The candidate has not been paid, or has been paid late or below the agreed compensation.
• Employment conditions, hours, duties or compensation have materially changed after commencement.
• There has been misconduct, harassment, unlawful treatment or unreasonable conduct by the client.
• Recruitment fees payable to ScaleHorse remain outstanding.
• The situation arises from circumstances outside ScaleHorse's reasonable control.

Other conditions

• The guarantee applies once per original search unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Replacement searches follow the same process and timelines as an original search.
• The guarantee is not transferable to another business or another role.

Employment, contractor, payroll and employer-of-record arrangements depend on your circumstances, your location and the candidate's location. ScaleHorse can explain the options generally but does not provide legal, tax or employment advice, and you remain responsible for compliance in your jurisdiction.
